The first Christmas is really for the adults. The baby will sleep through most of it, and everyone else will be quietly emotional about a set of fairy lights. This card is for that.
A small teddy in a Santa hat and bow tie sits at the centre with hearts on the soles of his paws, surrounded by holly, snowflakes and stars. My First Christmas arches above him in mixed script and serif lettering, with tiny hands, big magic and loved beyond measure below.
Will it survive being kept? It is printed on heavy 300gsm card rather than thin stock, so it holds up in a memory box or a frame long after the tree comes down.
