Glass Jar Favours
Personalised glass jar favours, made to order in Cork. Choose the 41ml mini jar for a scatter favour along a table setting, or the 106ml hexagonal jar where you want something with enough weight in the hand to read as a proper gift. Every jar takes a printed sticker on the lid or around the side, with names, dates and short messages agreed with you before printing.
Order them empty if you are filling your own, or filled with jelly beans, chocolate lentils or winegums. Glass jar favours suit weddings, communions, confirmations, christenings, baby showers and hen parties, and guests tend to keep the jar long after the sweets are gone. About these Glass Jar Favours
The glass jar is the one people keep. A plastic tub goes in the bin on the way out of the hotel, but a small hexagonal jar ends up on a windowsill holding hair clips or nothing at all, which is a strange thing to design for and yet it is reliably what happens.
Two sizes. The 41ml mini is the place setting size, small enough that fifty of them do not take over a table. The 106ml hex is the one to give when the favour is doing the work of a proper gift, at a wedding or a christening.
Each jar is filled and labelled by hand in my studio in Mallow, County Cork, with a personalised sticker. Fills include jelly beans, chocolate lentils, wine gums and mixes, or take them empty and fill them yourself. Dispatch is 2 to 4 working days by An Post, so allow a fortnight for a wedding order. Can I order just one jar?
Yes. Jars are one of the few favours you can buy singly, from 2.20 euro for a mini glass jar. After that it is packs of ten, twenty or fifty.
What jar shapes are there?
Mini glass jars at 41ml, and hex jars. Pack prices run higher on the hex.
What sweets can go in?
Jelly beans, wine gums, chocolate mini beans or lentils, or a mix of sweets. The exact wording varies a little between the mini and the hex.
What foil colours can I pick?
Twenty one foil colours on the sticker, from gold, rose gold and silver through to pink hearts, blue stars, holographic red and rainbow glitter.
How long before it arrives?
Made to order and dispatched within 2 to 4 working days, then standard An Post delivery within Ireland.
What if I spot a mistake in the details?
Message me straight away. If it has not gone to print yet I will fix it at no cost. Once it is printed and dispatched, a replacement is a paid reprint.
