Every keepsake is made to order, so nothing is foiled until your wording is in front of me.

Pick the design and the size. Every design comes in the foil colours above, so you can match it to them rather than to me.

Tell me the details

Fill in the personalisation boxes on the product page. Names, dates, destination, whatever the surprise is. No account and no extra email needed.

I make it by hand

Your wording is foiled and hand finished in my studio in Mallow, then packed flat with a backing board so it arrives perfect.

They open it

They lift, scratch or unfold the panel and find out. Then it goes on the fridge or into a memory box, which is the whole point.

How I handle your wording

I set your wording exactly as you type it, so have a quick look at spelling, capitals and dates before you check out. Fadas and Irish wording are no problem at all. If you want a keepsake as Gaeilge, type it in Irish and that is how it will be foiled.

Changed a name or a date?

Editing your details after you order

Mistakes happen and plans move. Here is exactly when I can still change your wording, and what happens once the foil is on.

Straight after you order

Reply to your order confirmation, or email info@printarelle.com with your order number and the change. Nothing has been foiled yet, so it is a simple swap and there is no charge.

Within the first 24 hours

Most keepsakes are made within a day or two of ordering, so this is the safe window for a wording change. If you are quick, I have almost always caught it in time.

Once it has been foiled

Foil is permanent, so a finished keepsake cannot be edited. If the mistake is mine I remake it and post the new one free of charge, no questions asked.

If the plan changes completely

Message me before you order again. I can often redo just the date line rather than start from scratch, which keeps the cost down for you.

Personalised, made to order items are exempt from the 14 day cooling off period under EU consumer law, but anything faulty or wrong on my side is always put right. Full details in the Return and Refund Policy.

Questions I get asked most

Is it real foil?

Yes. Real metallic foil, pressed and hand finished, not a print made to look shiny. You can feel it under your thumb.

Will they see the surprise before I want them to?

No. Everything posts in a plain outer envelope with nothing on the outside that gives it away, so you decide the moment.

Can I see a proof before it is made?

Standard orders go straight into production, so I do not send proofs by default. If you want to check a layout first, email me before you order and I will happily send one.

How long does it take?

Everything is made to order, usually within one to two working days, and then it goes into the post from Cork. Allow a little more time in December.

Can I have it in Irish?

Yes. Type your wording as Gaeilge in the personalisation box, fadas and all, and that is exactly how it will be foiled.

What is the last order date for Christmas?

Orders on printarelle.com close on 4 December. After that date you can still order foil keepsakes on Amazon.ie.
