If your house is full of children who build everything out of blocks, the elves might as well be built that way too. This set opens the season with a cheerful hello from the North Pole and closes it with a thank you for all the laughs before the elves pack up for Christmas Eve.
Both elves, the presents, the trees, the lanterns and even the snowman are made from little square blocks, with a candy cane border, stars and snowflakes around the edge. The arrival envelope carries a postmarked "From the Elves" label, and the goodbye envelope shows the pair waving from a pile of blocky gifts.
How do you use them? Leave the arrival letter out on the first morning of the visit, then tuck the goodbye letter somewhere to be found on Christmas Eve, so the story has a proper beginning and end.
