The range covers 40g chocolate bars, chocolate coins, lollipops, mini and hex glass jars, sweet tubs from 45g to 150g and clear boxes, in the Monogram Wreath and Floral Wreath designs plus a photo wrap. About these Engagement Favours
An engagement party is the one celebration where nobody is quite sure what the etiquette is, favours included. They are not expected, which is exactly why they land. A small jar with both names and the date on it, at a party that was organised in three weeks flat, does more than the effort involved would suggest.
The practical difference from a wedding order is quantity and lead time. Engagement parties tend to run twenty to forty people rather than a hundred and twenty, and they are usually booked at short notice, so the sensible order here is a pack of twenty or thirty in one format rather than a full matched table. The Monogram Wreath and Floral Wreath designs both run right across the range, so if you do want the jars, the coins and the bars to match, they will.
Wreath designs are finished with a real foil sticker, available in over twenty colours from gold and rose gold to holographic and glitter. The 40g bars are printed rather than foiled, which is what holds them at €2.50 each. Everything is filled, sealed and labelled by hand in my studio in Mallow, County Cork, and dispatch is 2 to 4 working days by An Post. Engagement Favours questions, answered
Can I mix formats on one table?
Yes. Each format is its own order line, so plenty of people take cones for the children and coins or neapolitans for the adults, all in the same design family.
Can I order just one favour?
Only the glass jars and the clear boxes sell singly, from 2.20 euro for a mini glass jar. Everything else starts at a pack, usually ten, or five for the 40g chocolate bars.
How many should I order?
One per guest plus a few spare is the usual rule. Pack sizes run 10, 20, 30 and 50 across most formats, with the neapolitans going up to 100 and the chocolate bars starting at 5.
How far ahead should I order?
Two to three weeks is comfortable. That leaves room to agree the wording with you, dispatch within the usual working days, and still have the favours sitting at home well before the day.
How long before it arrives?
Made to order and dispatched within 2 to 4 working days, then standard An Post delivery within Ireland.
What if I spot a mistake in the details?
Message me straight away. If it has not gone to print yet I will fix it at no cost. Once it is printed and dispatched, a replacement is a paid reprint.
