Your screen displays colours in RGB light, which is vivid and bright. Edible printing uses CMYK ink on an edible surface, which naturally produces softer, slightly less vibrant results. Icing sheet gives the closest result to what you see on screen. Wafer paper has a matte, textured surface so colours appear noticeably more muted. Both produce a clear, beautiful result.
The toppers are printed on certified allergen-free materials. If you or your guests have severe allergies, please also consider the icing, cake, and any other elements used at home. If you have a specific allergy concern, please contact us before ordering.

Sizes and What You Receive
You receive 15 pre-cut circles, each 2 inches (5cm) in diameter. This is the standard cupcake size and fits most regular cupcake cases. We sell them as 12 - the bottom 3 can sometimes not print as evenly, so we include them as a bonus.
You receive 30 pre-cut circles, each 1.5 inches (3.8cm). Perfect for mini cupcakes or larger tables. The mini sheet uses the same design repeated - it is not possible to mix designs on the mini size.
It depends on the product. Most of our cupcake topper sets include multiple designs per sheet. Check the product listing for the exact designs included. The mini 1.5in size uses one repeated image across the full sheet.

How to Apply Your Toppers
1
Cut into strips first. Work with one strip of 5 at a time. This makes them easier to handle and reduces humidity risk while you work.
2
Peel from the backing sheet. Our toppers are easy-peel - simply peel like a sticker. If stubborn, rub the backing vigorously against a sharp desk edge.
3
Place onto your topping. On buttercream or fresh cream, place directly. On fondant, lightly brush with water first. On sponge or chocolate, use dabs of icing pen to hold in place.
4
Keep the bag sealed. Never leave toppers out on the counter with the bag open. Humidity causes them to stick or go soft.
Only use this method if you have a dry, frost-free freezer. Place one strip at a time in the freezer briefly until it firms up, then peel and apply immediately. Do not put the full sheet in at once. If your freezer has frost or moisture, skip this method entirely.
We recommend placing toppers onto a fondant disc. Cut circles from flat rolled fondant, leave to dry a couple of hours, very lightly brush with water, then place your topper on top. A flat swirl of buttercream also works well as a stable base.
For buttercream or fresh cream, apply as close to the occasion time as possible. For fondant or a fondant disc base, you can apply them the day before if needed.

Storage and Shelf Life
Keep in the grip-sealed bag, in a cool dark cupboard away from sunlight and heat. Do not store in the fridge - moisture will affect the icing. You can take them out to look, just seal the bag straight away.
Icing sheets last up to 6 months when stored correctly. To keep colours at their most vibrant, we recommend ordering around 2 weeks before your occasion - that is the sweet spot for freshness and colour.
Do not store in the fridge or freezer before use
Do not leave the bag open or unsealed
Do not leave them out on a countertop
Do not bend them by stacking items on top
Do not apply baking parchment over the top - it will stick

Ordering and Personalisation
Most of our edible toppers are personalised with a name and age. You will be prompted to enter these at checkout. Check each product listing to see exactly what is needed.
Yes - we send a digital proof via WhatsApp before printing so you can confirm the name, layout, and design. We will not print until you have approved it. Make sure your WhatsApp number is included at checkout.
Around 2 weeks before your occasion. This allows time for proof approval, printing, and delivery - and keeps the colours at their freshest. Icing sheets last up to 6 months, so ordering earlier is fine too.
Your toppers are sealed in a grip bag and packaged carefully to arrive flat and undamaged. We ship across Ireland and include instructions with every order.
