Printarelle creates a range of paper-based gifts and keepsakes, all handmade in Ireland:

All products are designed, printed, and assembled at our studio in Mallow, County Cork, Ireland, by DexPixel Limited trading as Printarelle. Each order is packed using recyclable materials.

Materials and Manufacturing

• Paper stock: premium 300gsm FSC-certified cardstock
• Ink: non-toxic, water-based inkjet printing
• Foil: heat-transfer foil applied via a toner foil process
• Lamination: laminator pouches for select products
• Envelopes: kraft paper, recyclable and plastic-free

All designs are free from electrical and chemical components. Every product is made to be safe for general use.

GPSR Key Compliance Areas

Under Regulation (EU) 2023/988, Printarelle ensures compliance with the following principles:

1. Product safety standards. All Printarelle products are classified as low risk. They contain no harmful substances, electrical parts, or choking hazards, and are suitable for consumer use as paper stationery and gifts.
2. Clear labelling. Each product or its packaging clearly includes the product identifier, manufacturer details, contact address, and instructions for safe use where relevant.
3. Traceability. All material sourcing and production batches are tracked. Internal records ensure full traceability from design to delivery.
4. Risk management and market surveillance. Should a safety issue arise, Printarelle follows a documented process to assess, report, and manage risks. Any recall or corrective action would be handled transparently through customer notifications and official EU safety channels such as Safety Gate (RAPEX).
5. Online sales compliance. All online listings display accurate product details, manufacturer identity, contact information, and safety information, in line with GPSR Article 22 for distance and online selling.

Customer Guidance

Our paper-based gifts are not toys and are intended for decorative or gifting use. Adult supervision is advised if given to young children.
