About these Baptism Cards
A baptism card is nearly always handed over rather than posted, usually in a hotel function room a couple of hours after the church. That changes what it needs to do. It gets read out loud in front of people, it goes into the box with the candle and the certificate, and it is opened again years later when somebody is clearing out a press. Godparents in particular want their name on it in a way a shop card does not allow for.
The designs stay quiet: soft colour, plenty of white space, and the baby's name set as the main event. Real foil is pressed by hand one sheet at a time, and silver suits these better than gold.
Printed on heavyweight cardstock in my studio in Mallow and blank inside, so the blessing or the message is yours. Dispatch is 2 to 4 working days by An Post, which is worth allowing for when the date is fixed. See also christening cards, christening and baptism invitations and new baby cards.

How does personalising work?
On the product page there's a box for the name, age or wording you want. Some designs add that text into the printed design itself, others leave the inside blank for you to write by hand. Each product page says which one it is.
Can I see a proof before it's printed?
For a straightforward name and date, I print without a separate proof. If your wording is longer or unusual, message me first and I'll confirm it before it goes to print.
What if I spot a typo after I've ordered?
Message me as soon as you can. If it hasn't gone to print yet I can fix it for free. Once it's printed and dispatched, a replacement is a paid reprint.
What foil colours do you offer?
Gold, silver, rose gold and holographic, plus gold holographic on some designs, I have over 30 foil color to choose from. Each product page shows which colours are available for that card.
Which size should I pick?
A6 is the standard card size and A5 is roughly double, better when the design carries a lot of wording or you want it to feel like a keepsake.
How long before it arrives?
- Made to order and dispatched within 2-4 working days, then standard An Post delivery within Ireland.
