Something to mark the day, whatever age it is. Birthday cards are handmade in County Cork, Ireland from €3.90, covering every milestone from a first birthday to a seventieth. Cards are printed in full colour on premium cardstock, with real foil used on select milestone and glitter designs. A5 and A6 sizes are both stocked, personalised cards can carry a name and age at checkout, and premade designs are ready to send straight away without any extra steps.

About these Birthday Cards

This is the full birthday range, which is most of what I make. Somewhere in here is the card for the milestone year, the one for the child who only cares about dinosaurs, and the one for the friend who would be insulted by anything sincere. The filters do the heavy lifting: age first, then who it is for, then style.

Milestone years have their own pages, from a 1st birthday through to 70th, and those are usually the fastest way in if you know the number.

Every card is made to order in my studio in Mallow, County Cork. Add a name on any design or leave the field empty and it is made as photographed. Real foil is pressed by hand with heat, so the lettering moves in the light rather than sitting flat like printed metallic ink. Cards are heavyweight cardstock, blank inside, with a kraft or white envelope, dispatched within 2 to 4 working days by An Post. If the present is a concert, a trip or a match, the birthday keepsake cards reveal it properly, and there are matching birthday cupcake toppers for the cake.

Everything you need to know before you personalise a card.

How does personalising work?

On the product page there's a box for the name, age or wording you want. Some designs add that text into the printed design itself, others leave the inside blank for you to write by hand. Each product page says which one it is.

Can I see a proof before it's printed?

For a straightforward name and date, I print without a separate proof. If your wording is longer or unusual, message me first and I'll confirm it before it goes to print.

What if I spot a typo after I've ordered?

Message me as soon as you can. If it hasn't gone to print yet I can fix it for free. Once it's printed and dispatched, a replacement is a paid reprint.

What foil colours do you offer?

Gold, silver, rose gold and holographic, plus gold holographic on some designs, I have over 30 foil color to choose from. Each product page shows which colours are available for that card.

Which size should I pick?

A6 is the standard card size and A5 is roughly double, better when the design carries a lot of wording or you want it to feel like a keepsake.

How long before it arrives?
