About these Irish Prints
There is a particular kind of Irish print that gets bought for somebody who has just moved abroad, and another kind that gets bought for a hall at home. This collection holds both. Céad Míle Fáilte and Fáilte are the ones that go by a front door. Put the Kettle On and It'll Be Grand are the ones that end up in a kitchen and get commented on by every visitor. Éire Go Brách and Muintir tend to be the ones posted overseas.
All of them are typography rather than illustration, which is why they sit comfortably beside photographs and existing frames instead of competing with them. Each design can be ordered as a printed colour or pressed in real hot foil, and the foil version is worth considering for anything going in a hall where the light changes through the day. Do prints come framed?
No, prints are sent unframed. They are standard A5, A4 and A3 sizes, so they fit off the shelf frames without cutting or mounting.
How are they posted?
Flat, in a rigid protective sleeve, so nothing arrives creased or rolled.
Can I check the wording before it prints?
For a short name and date I print without a separate proof. For longer or unusual wording, message me first and I will confirm it before printing.
What is the foil like on a print?
Real foil pressed by hand in gold, silver, rose gold or holographic, so the lettering moves in the light. It photographs badly and looks far better in person, which is why each listing says which parts are foiled.
Can I have different names or wording?
Most designs allow your own names, dates and short wording, entered in the personalisation box on the product page.
Can I get the same design in a different size later?
Yes, most designs are available across A5, A4 and A3, so if you want a bigger or smaller version afterwards, just order it as a separate print.
How long before it arrives?
Made to order and dispatched within 2 to 4 working days, then standard An Post delivery within Ireland.
