About these Communion Welcome Signs
The welcome sign goes on an easel at the door of the function room. It is the first thing every guest sees and the thing everyone stops to photograph the child beside. A4 works on a table or a small stand. A3 is the one to take if it is going on a proper easel at the entrance, because A4 read from that distance is too small and ends up looking apologetic.
The child's name and the date are set into the design in script, with chalices, florals or hanging garden borders around them.
Printed on heavyweight stock in my studio in Mallow, County Cork, and supplied unframed, so it can go into a frame you already have or stand as it is. Dispatch is 2 to 4 working days by An Post, and May is the busiest month of my year, so order well ahead. Which size should I choose?
A4 is 210 by 297 mm and suits a welcome table or a smaller room. A3 is 297 by 420 mm and works better at an entrance or as the main focal point.
Does it come with a stand?
No, the sign is the print on its own. A standard A4 or A3 easel stand from any homeware shop holds it.
What goes on the sign?
The child's name and the date of the celebration, typed into the box on the product page.
Can the same design be used for a Confirmation?
Yes. These designs suit both First Holy Communion and Confirmation. If you need the wording itself changed, message me before you order.
What if I spot a mistake in the details?
Message me straight away. If it has not gone to print yet I will fix it at no cost. Once it is printed and dispatched, a replacement is a paid reprint.
How long before it arrives?
Made to order and dispatched within 2 to 5 working days, then standard An Post delivery within Ireland.
