Halloween party favours in Ireland have one job: to be the treat a child picks out of the bucket first. A printed sticker with a smiling ghost or a black cat does that better than any plain wrapper, and a name on the front means it comes home in one piece. This guide covers every Halloween favour in our new range, from 40mm chocolate coins to wrapped bars, and how many of each to order.
Halloween began here as Samhain, the old Gaelic festival that marks the turn of the year, and Oíche Shamhna is still the Irish name for the night. These days it is mostly buckets, costumes and a table of something sweet, and this year it lands on a Saturday, so the party and the trick or treat can happen on the same evening.
Are Halloween Favours Right for Your Party, Class or Trick or Treat?
Choose Halloween favours when
- You are filling trick or treat buckets or party bags with something a child will spot first
- A whole class needs one treat each, and a 40g bar suits a lunchbox or a classroom set
- You want a name or short message on the treat so it is clearly theirs
- You would like one order to cover a whole party table
Choose something else when
- A school or party is avoiding chocolate, where lollipop favours are the sweet without it
- A guest is under 3, because the lollipops carry a choking warning and chocolate suits them better
- Someone has a nut allergy, where you will want to read the allergen line on each listing first
- The treats will sit in a warm classroom or car, where chocolate softens and lollipops hold up better
How Many Halloween Treats Should I Order?
The rule is one treat per child, counting everyone who will be at the door or the table. Add roughly 10 percent for siblings who turn up, late additions and the one you will keep, then round up to the next pack rather than risk being short.

Are Halloween favours safe for children with allergies?
Every listing carries its own ingredient and allergen line, so read it before you order. The chocolate coins contain milk and soya and may contain traces of nuts, peanuts and cereals containing gluten. The mini Neapolitans contain milk and soya and may contain traces of nuts and wheat. The lollipops are gluten free.
Are the lollipops suitable for toddlers?
Not for children under 3. The lollipops carry a choking hazard warning, so for the youngest guests choose a chocolate treat such as the mini Neapolitans or the coins, and check the allergen line first.
When should I order Halloween favours?
We dispatch in 2 to 4 working days and send tracked within Ireland. Halloween is Saturday 31 October this year, so we suggest ordering by Friday 23 October to have everything in the house a week ahead. Earlier is calmer, especially if you want names added.
Do I have to add a name?
No. Personalisation is optional: add a first name or short message and it is added to the design, or order the designs as shown. You choose the design from the options on each listing.
What is in the Halloween favour bundle?
The bundle is €45.00 and holds 20 chocolate coins, 20 mini Neapolitan chocolates, 10 chocolate bars of 40g and 20 lollipops, all in one kawaii Halloween design that you choose. That is 70 treats: something to nibble, something to pocket and something to take home.
Where are Printarelle Halloween favours made?
