CConfirmation and Communion party favours in Ireland do one small job well: they give every guest something with the child's name on it to take home from the table. The four formats we make in Mallow cover almost every version of the day, from a coffee and cake at home for fifteen people to a full sit-down lunch for sixty. The decisions that matter are how many, which format, and when to order.
The one thing nobody tells you: the favours are almost always set out the night before, by a parent who is also icing something. That is why every format we make arrives finished. The coins are wrapped, the lollipops are stickered, the jars are filled and lidded. There is no assembly stage waiting for you at eleven o'clock the night before a Confirmation.

How Many Favours Should I Order?
Count everyone sitting down, including the children. Add roughly 10 percent for the cousin who was not counted, the grandparent who wants one for the mantelpiece, and the one you will keep yourself. Then round up to the next pack size, because packs come in 10, 20, 30 and 50 and being short on the morning is worse than having four spare. If you want one recommendation rather than four options: coins for a mixed table of adults and children, lollipops if the guests are mostly under twelve, and jars only when you specifically want something that outlives the day. Cones sit oddly at a formal sit-down lunch and come into their own when children are the main audience.

Questions We Get Asked
Are the favours suitable for allergies?
The lollipops are gluten free, which is why they are often the safest choice for a big children's table. Chocolate coins are milk chocolate. Jars and cones depend on the fill you pick, so the full ingredient and allergen details are listed on each product page. If in doubt, message us before ordering.
How long before the day should I order?
Two weeks is the latest we recommend, and four weeks is comfortable. Orders are made and dispatched from Mallow within one to two working days, so the rest of the window is delivery time and breathing room in case a name needs correcting.
What if my numbers change after I order?
Message us as soon as you know. If the order has not gone into production we can usually change the pack size. If it has, the simplest fix is a small top-up order in the same design, which is another reason to order a size up from the start.
Can I mix formats from the same design?
Yes, and plenty of people do. Seven of the design families run across coins, lollipops, jars and cones, so coins at each place setting with matching jars on the cake table is a common combination. Order each format separately and use the same name and date wording.
