Personalised Glass Jar Sweet Favours for Confirmation and Communion

A personalised favour that doubles as part of the table setting

By Natali, Printarelle · Handmade in Mallow, Co. Cork · August 2026

Personalised glass jar sweet favours for Confirmation and Communion are small reusable glass jars finished with a pale gold twist-off cap and personalised sticker. They have more presence on a place setting than a small wrapped sweet, while still being compact enough to use one at every seat.

The current Confirmation range has five designs, each available as a 41ml mini jar and a 106ml hex jar. You can order the jars filled with jelly beans, chocolate lentils or winegums, or choose them empty if you want to add your own filling. Each jar is personalised, finished and boxed by hand in our studio in Mallow, Co. Cork.

What Are Personalised Glass Jar Sweet Favours?

Each favour combines a clear pressed-glass jar, pale gold twist-off cap and personalised printed sticker. The sticker can sit on the lid like a seal or around the side where the wording is easier to read at eye level. Add a name, date or short message depending on the design, then choose whether Printarelle fills the jar or sends it empty for you to finish yourself.

"The nice thing about a glass jar favour is that it still looks like part of the table before anyone opens it — and the jar can be reused afterwards."

Mini Jar or Hex Jar: Which Should I Choose?

The mini jar is the better fit when you want a favour at every place setting without crowding the table. The larger hex jar has noticeably more weight and sweet capacity, so it reads more like a small gift. Both use the same pale gold cap and personalised sticker system, which means you can even mix the two sizes while keeping the table coordinated.

Filled or Empty: Which Option Should I Choose?

Choose a filled jar when you want the favour to arrive ready for the table. Choose Empty when you already have a particular sweet, colour palette or homemade filling in mind. Empty orders still include the glass jar, cap and personalised sticker.

Order Filled

Choose jelly beans, chocolate lentils or winegums. The jars are filled, capped, stickered and boxed in the studio.

Order Empty

Best if you want your own sweets or homemade treat. Wash and dry the jars thoroughly before adding anything edible.

How Many Glass Jar Favours Should I Order?

If the jars are going at each place setting, begin with one per guest and add a few spares for last-minute changes. Standard listings are available in quantities of 1, 10, 20 and 50, and larger events can request a custom quote.

1Single gift or sample
10–20Smaller family celebration
50Larger guest list
50+Request a custom quote

Current jar product pages list dispatch in 2–4 working days before delivery time. For a Confirmation, Communion or wedding order, leave extra time rather than planning around the shortest possible turnaround.

How Do I Style Jars on the Table?

Glass jars work best when the personalised label can actually be seen. Instead of hiding them in a central basket, use them as part of the place setting or group them somewhere guests naturally stop, such as beside the cake, guest book or favour table.

At every placePut the mini jar beside a napkin or place card so the label becomes part of the table design.
Use the side labelA side-positioned sticker is easier to read across the table than a lid label.
Mix sizes deliberatelyUse mini jars for most guests and larger hex jars for godparents, grandparents or a top table.
Keep the glass protectedTransport them in their outer box and set them out at the venue rather than stacking loose jars.

Care, Food & Safety Notes

  • Glass can chip or break, so check jars before use and keep young children supervised
  • Keep filled jars cool, dry and away from direct sunlight or heat
  • Keep the cap on until the jars are set out so the sweets stay sealed and fresh
  • Check the supplied ingredients, allergens and best-before information before serving
  • If you order Empty, wash and dry the jars thoroughly and fill them shortly before the event

Planning a Wedding Instead?

The glass jar collection also includes Monogram Wreath and Floral Wreath wedding designs in both mini and hex sizes, alongside the wider wedding favour range.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the mini jar and the hex jar?

The mini jar is a 41ml round jar with a 43mm cap and is designed as a compact place-setting favour. The hex jar is 106ml with a 48mm cap, holds more sweets and feels more substantial in the hand.

Can I order the jars empty?

Yes. Select Empty to receive the glass jar, pale gold cap and personalised sticker without sweets, ready for you to fill yourself.

What sweets can I choose?

Current listings offer jelly beans, chocolate lentils and winegums. The mini jar takes around 30g and the larger hex jar around 80g, depending on the sweet.

How many Confirmation jar designs are available?

There are currently five Confirmation designs in the glass jar collection: Little Believer, Peaceful Dove, Wildflower Blessing, Blossom Grace and Halo Grace. Each is available in both mini and hex jar sizes.

Where does the personalised sticker go?

The sticker can be applied to the lid or around the side of the jar. A lid sticker looks like a seal from above, while a side sticker is easier to read at eye level.

What quantities can I order?

Standard jar listings are available in quantities of 1, 10, 20 or 50. For more than 50 jars, request a custom quote for the larger event.

How far ahead should I order?

Current product pages list dispatch in 2–4 working days before delivery time. For an event, leave additional time rather than relying on the shortest possible production and delivery window.

Can the glass jars be reused?

Yes. The glass jar and twist-off cap can be reused after the sweets are gone. Wash and dry the jar appropriately before using it again.
