Wedding Favours Ireland: Coins, Jars, Tubs, Boxes and Lollipops
A small thank you for every seat at the table

In this guide
Wedding favours in Ireland come in far more formats than the confirmation and communion side of our business, with options ranging from small edible favours to more substantial table gifts. We currently make two full wedding designs, Monogram Wreath and Floral Wreath, each personalised with the couple's initials or names and the wedding date, and each available across chocolate coins, glass jars, sweet tubs, a clear box, and lollipops. This guide walks through the formats so you can plan favours for your own table.
Every piece is personalised and packed by hand in our studio in Mallow, Co. Cork, with the couple's details printed to order rather than kept as generic stock.
How to Choose Your Wedding Favours
The easiest way to choose is to start with your guest count, how substantial you want each favour to feel, and whether you want something ready for the table or a format you can customise further yourself.
Large guest list
Chocolate coins and lollipops keep the favour small, simple and easy to place at every setting.
Premium table setting
Glass jars have more presence on the table and can become part of the place setting itself.
More sweets per guest
Sweet tubs come in several sizes, so you can choose a more generous favour without using glass.
Flexible filling options
Favour boxes give you the most flexibility, with options varying by style and product listing.

Chocolate Coins and Lollipops for Weddings
Chocolate coins and lollipops are the most budget-friendly wedding favours we make, and both formats work well for a large guest list. Coins are 40mm milk chocolate printed with the monogram or floral wreath design, the couple's names, and the date. Lollipops are individually wrapped with the same wreath design on an 8cm sticker, which makes them easy to place at each setting or hand out as guests leave.
"Wedding favours are the one detail guests actually take home. Worth getting right."

Glass Jars and Sweet Tubs for Weddings
Glass jars sit beautifully on a place setting and come in mini and hex sizes, both finished with a foil sticker and ribbon bow rather than the plain twist lid used on our confirmation range, which gives them a more formal finish suited to a wedding table. If you want a more generous fill without the glass, our sweet tubs come in three sizes: a 45g mini tub, an 80g tub, and a larger 100g or 150g option, all wrapped with the same wreath sticker.

Favour Boxes for Weddings
Favour boxes are one of the most flexible formats for weddings because the shape and filling options vary across the range. Both wreath designs appear across decorative box styles including foil sticker boxes, white boxes and butterfly-shaped boxes, while selected listings offer different sweet fills. If you want something more playful, the Happily Ever After range includes bride and groom shaped boxes designed as a table favour in their own right.

Personalisation, Quantities and Ordering
Choose one design language for the table
Monogram Wreath gives the table a classic black-and-white look, while Floral Wreath brings in softer pink and purple botanical tones. Keeping the same design across different favour formats lets you mix jars, tubs, coins or boxes without the table feeling mismatched.
Add the details that matter
Your initials or names and wedding date are the natural starting point. On suitable jar designs, using a guest name instead can also turn the favour into part of the place setting.
How many wedding favours do I need?
If you are placing one favour at each seat, start with your final guest count and order slightly over rather than exactly to the number. Wedding numbers can move close to the day, and having a small handful of spares is much easier than trying to match an extra favour at the last minute.
Can I mix favour formats?
Yes. A useful approach is to keep the personalisation and design consistent while changing the format — for example, glass jars for a smaller top table and coins, lollipops or tubs for the wider guest list.
When should I order?
For a wedding order, leave a few weeks rather than ordering at the last minute. That gives you room for personalisation, production, delivery and any final guest-number changes. Check the individual product page for the current dispatch information for the format you choose.
A simple planning rule
Choose the format for your budget and guest count, then use one design and one personalisation style across the order. That creates a coordinated table even when the actual favour containers are different.

Frequently Asked Questions
What wedding favour designs are currently available?
Our main coordinated wedding favour designs are Monogram Wreath and Floral Wreath, with personalised options available across the wider wedding favour range.
Which wedding favour format is best for a large guest list?
Chocolate coins and lollipops are the easiest formats to repeat across a larger number of place settings. If you want something more substantial, tubs offer a fuller sweet favour without moving to glass.
Can I order different favour types in the same wedding design?
Yes. Keeping the same wreath design, names or initials and wedding date across different formats is an easy way to mix jars, tubs, coins, lollipops and boxes while keeping the table coordinated.
Do wedding favour boxes come filled or empty?
It depends on the box style and product listing. Some styles offer sweet-fill options, while others are better suited to choosing or adding your own contents. Check the individual listing before ordering so you know exactly what is included.
How many wedding favours should I order?
For one favour per place setting, use your final guest count as the starting point and order slightly over. A few spares give you room for last-minute changes and also leave you one or two to keep after the wedding.
How early should I order wedding favours?
Leave a few weeks where possible so there is time for personalisation, production and delivery. Current dispatch information can vary by product, so use the timing shown on the individual favour listing when planning around your wedding date.
